Patrick Deem

Co-Founder & CFO, Voodoo Manufacturing

Patrick Deem is a co-founder of Voodoo Manufacturing where he serves as the CFO and Head of Business Development. Prior to co-founding Voodoo Manufacturing in 2015 he was the Head of M&A and Strategic Partnerships at MakerBot. Before MakerBot Patrick worked at two hedge funds where he was the lead analyst and worked closely with the portfolio manager on investment selection. Prior to business school he worked for two investment banks in San Francisco principally servicing private equity firms.


Patrick holds BAs from Johns Hopkins University in International Studies and Russian along with a minor in Economics. He graduated from Wharton in 2009 with an MBA and also a Masters in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Patrick speaks Russian, having studied it formally for 10 years and lived there, enjoys skiing and has traveled extensively.

Maya Prosor

VP, Business Development & Partnerships, Lemonade 

Development and Partnerships at Lemonade, a licensed insurance carrier, offering homeowners and renters insurance powered by artificial intelligence and behavioral economics. She previously worked at Powermat Technologies the world leader in wireless charging, heading all US partnerships. Maya served at the Israeli Air Force (IAF) as a defense officer‐receiving a certificate of honors for her performance in the second Lebanese war (2006). Holds a B.A cum laude from IDC university and is also a graduate of the Zell entrepreneurship program at the IDC.

Lisa Skeete Tatum

CEO & Founder, Landit

Lisa Skeete Tatum is founder and CEO of Landit, a personalized career pathing technology to increase the success and engagement of women and diverse groups in the workplace. The platform offers a turn-key "one size fits one" solution that enables companies to attract, develop, and retain high-potential diverse talent. Previously, Lisa was a General Partner for over a decade with Cardinal Partners, a $350M+ early stage healthcare venture capital firm. Lisa also worked for Procter & Gamble, GE Capital, and founded her own consulting practice. Lisa serves on numerous high growth, public, and non-profit boards including Surgical Care Affiliates (NASDAQ), Union Square Hospitality Group, Cornell University Board of Trustees, McCarter Theater, The Lawrenceville School, The Princeton Area Community Foundation, and the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors.  She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fast Company, Vanity Fair, Fortune, Inc., CNBC, BBC Business and named one of the Most Impressive Women Entrepreneurs by Inc. Landit was named one of the Top 10 Innovations That Made Women’s Lives Better by Fast Company.

 

Sam Gimbel

Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder, Clark

Sam Gimbel has a plan to help the 4.4 million underemployed educators in the United States by offering them the economic empowerment they deserve. Sam is the co-founder and CPO of Clark, the first platform for the $100 billion global tutoring market. Clark offers a platform for tutoring centers to run their end-to-end operations, from scheduling to billing to session feedback, and a way for parents to find tutors, pay for sessions and understand their child’s progress. Since launching, Clark has helped thousands of people get access to income opportunities and personalized learning.


Sam has a background as a product leader in the NYC tech startup scene. His previous lives include Product at Blue Ridge Labs, DigitalOcean, DramaFever, and Hashable.

An avid gamer, audiophile and lover of extra-large phones and super-fast gaming laptops, Sherri L. Smith has been covering consumer electronics for over ten years. Over the course of her career, she has covered tech for Black Web 2.0, BET.com, FastCompany.com and Inc.com. She currently serves as assistant managing editor at Tom's Guide/Laptop Mag with a focus on gaming software and hardware as well as virtual, augmented and mixed reality and audio.

Jordan Klein 

CEO & Co-Founder, Park + Diamond

Jordan Klein is CEO/Co-founder of Park & Diamond, Inc., Jordan and his co-founder, David Hall, launched Park & Diamond three years ago as a mission-based company focused on protecting as many cyclist’s heads as possible, while developing accessible and portable products to fit everyone’s personal style. Prior to co-founding Park & Diamond, Jordan was an Application Engineer at Altec working on making their industrial trucks safer. Jordan attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (in Blacksburg, VA), majoring in Engineering Science and Mechanics, Math, and Entrepreneurship and New Venture Growth.
